Windmills

This windmill is incredibly large:

Windmill

Its part of the "Hull Wind" project, and compared to the other Hull Wind project windmill, it is a monster. But I mean that in a good way. While I'm sure there are some "NIMBYs" (not in my backyard) who don't like the look of the windmill, but I like the way it looks.

Wind Power

Wind Power can produce up to 94.1 gigawatts of reusable energy, but only account for about 1% of the power use in the US. Much like solar power it is an excellent source of clean technology.

Today's wind mills, are typically tall narrow structures with huge propellers that turn with the wind. One notable fact about wind power is that the energy has to be used immediately, for whatever reason it can not be stored. Which makes it difficult technology to work with as so much of what we need in our culture is stored electricity.

Wind power is an excellent way to power a building or a generator. Think about it. In a hurricane when most neighborhoods experience black outs, wind power could be used to keep lights on in homes, and hospitals.
